Thanks dude! Just go out there and do it. You'll never find a perfect scenario for a chipmusic live show, but you got to put a little bit of slyness to get you to play in a regular electronic show or something like that. Don't aim to the typical venues and find places where no-one else would go to play. Even busking in the streets is a nice move to make your first live. There's tons of threads talking about this

My first gig was in Montreal a few years ago thanks to an already built scene, but my next ones was in a squat houses, retrogaming fairs and stuff like that.

as far as i remember, this was my first LSDJ track and technically my first chiptune. I can't playback a lot of my older Renoise stuff because I don't have  those VSTs anymore. Some of those were chip-like. This is like May 2008 or so. I think that's when I first got LSDJ. good ooooooooooooooooooold velo.

this was my first real milkytracker song. this is probably fall 2009. i was still used to using LSDJ so I made every pattern 16 length, which made this track take forever to put together. i was going by arlen by this time.

Man dunno if I can even find my first chiptune...it was some FL studio thing for sure.

Well, I don't have my first songs because we had no diskdrive, and after composing we had to save the file on tape-recorder. Those tapes are already lost in time.

The only thing I have, is a "song" (haha) made in 1989, for my pseudo-demo "True Music 1". It was made on ZX Spectrum 48K, for BEEPER only (1 channel, 1-bit quality, no volumes, square wave only) about 2 years before I bought an AY-interface.

The curiosity is, it has been fully written in BASIC language (one note is one command ), and here is a part of a veeeeeeeery long listing, hahaha.

It took me hours to make this ultra-short crap, looped at the end. =8-D

I recently recovered it from my ancient cassettes with my ZX Spectrum programs.
The later songs had 2 channels and have been made on "The Music Box" editor.
