The built in arduino gives it MIDI in, just like any other synthesizer it can respond to MIDI information including pitch bend, mod and sync.</p><p>I built this unit to run LSDJ, Nanoloop and MIDI GB. You can flash all 3 of these programs to one cartridge and have them selectable from the main menu, or you can just throw in a legit LSDJ or Nanoloop cart and use it just for the one program. And it played original game boy games as normal (but not advance games, as i have not wired in the shoulder buttons)</p><p>A cartridge is easily installed by removing 6 screws to release the top panel to access the GBA motherboard. Its not something you will want to do on the fly. I built this with the intention of installing a cartridge in there and leaving it in there for good, only to remove it when its time to back files up.</p><p>Please note the cartridge is not included in this sale! Clear instructions on how to install your own cartridge will be included with the sale!</p><p>The I/O on the back is as follows:</p><p>12V DC In<br />Left Audio Out<br />Right Audio Out<br />MIDI In</p><p>A headphone output is located on the front (disables rear outputs) along side the master volume control.</p>]]></description>
