Yeah you got a good point there with the personal factor, but I don't know, I'm just trying to get the best value for my money, I would've tried to mod a DMG myself but I'm pretty sure that will end up in 3rd degree burns or atleast Doc Brown hair syndrome.
I already dont use my Maschine that much anymore, I'm mainly an Ableton user and bouncing stuff/plugging in Maschine to Ableton is capital butt pain for me, so I've been looking into replacing it with an Ableton Push sometime maybe.

Better to get one from him where you can choose colour and exact mods than to to save 40 buck getting a second hand one, makes it much more personal

If you can afford to not sell your maschine, wait? The maschine is amazing to use with a gameboy, you can use all the sounds of a gameboy but with the speedy workflow and creativity of a maschine..

Hey everyone, sorry if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find a newbie/question section.
I've been producing electronic music for a couple years now (check out my stuff here: https://soundcloud.com/bassface), always been wanting to get into making chiptune, I've used famitracker and milkytracker but I need a better setup for live gigs.

I have a couple questions about the entry level setups, I was roaming the interwebs for some pre-modded DMGs and I found this:

Since I live in Kuwait, that setup will cost me $233 with shipping and LSDJ, I'm also a male and I don't like ponies so I'll have to replace the lens.
Now I was wondering if that is worth shelling out the money for or should I get a custom one from Burn Fingers? (https://www.facebook.com/burnfingers)
I chatted with the guys there a bit, a regular grey DMG setup with backlight, 1/8 prosound, bassmod, shipping and LSDJ would cost me $173.
I'm on a bit of a tight budget, I'm selling my MK1 Maschine to pickup a setup.
Other than those, I'm definitely open to any of your offers if any of you guys are selling your DMGs.
