JaffaCakeMexica says:
@herr_prof: awesome. Loop Control control looks sweet. I had no idea it existed.

@Mrwimmer: I see what you mean about the limitations of renoise phrases. different groove and BPM per phrase isnt possible as far as I know.

I think I'll look into using Loop control along with these commands in phrases:

    ZTxx - Set tempo (BPM) (20 - FF, 00 = stop song)

ZKxx - Set Ticks Per Line (TPL) (01 - 10).

ZGxx - Toggle song Groove on/off (00 = turn off, 01 or higher = turn on).

ZDxx - Delay (pause) pattern playback by xx lines.

    0Bxx - Play phrase backwards (xx = 00) or forwards (xx = 01).

0Sxx - Trigger phrase from line xx.

Should be interesting. I should read the manual again.
Probably set renoise at 560BPM to make it playback at a fast speed like LGPT command per tick (instead of command per line) style tables.

Mrwimmer says:
LGPT Tables : Limited to 3 columns, but hop commands and groove manipulation mean you can do just about anything you want anyway.

Renoise Phrases: 12 note columns, 10 effect columns, but you're stuck dealing with LPB (which is only annoying if you're used to other PC trackers)

Just preference really. I like tables better.
