Im in hampshire. All i used is an amiga 1200 with octamed pro v5 running through a really shitty mixer. I don't want to give away any processes. Those are trade secrets . '3 rectangles of prgressively dense dot pattern' is cool but otherwise go for 176177178 as those are the numbers that represent the alt symbols. peace

Definitely. You've certainly inspired me (along with other chip musicians like abandoned on fire, biographs, the mist toggles etc) to start getting a bit weirder with my chip sound design/arrangements. I was previously trying to come up with constant bangers, and while I still like using a techno beat, I've realised that there's already a lot of amazing chip tech/house stuff out there, and I should try to do my own thing

Anyway, back on track, great album!

Aye its amazingly phat. I think it can make people feel a bit awkward and uncomfortable without a regular 4/4 and 3/3 rhythm. Don't me wrong i love a lot of techno and stuff. I just think the 'wierdness' needs more love on the chipscene. It seems more than a little safe at times.

fuck yeah, I would have been losing my shit at that gig, instead of just standing around looking bored like most of the people there.

Someone needs to bring this style to the live chip scene!

Yeah SND rule. Some of his stuff is definatley a bit 'special' and you have to be in the right zone for your brain to absorb it. Some of it is far more dancable like 'Sentielle Objectif Actualité'. Really loving his 'Sensate Focus' EPs as well. Really cheesey but phat.

Nice! I haven't heard much of his solo stuff but I love SND.

Someone on another forum said that Mark Fell's solo work sounds like Sonic repeatedly hitting the pinball bumpers in Carnival Night Zone, I kinda agree but don't necessarily think it's a bad thing

I listen to shitloads of raster noton like stuff and although i love it i agree that somtimes its seems far too clean. I'm currently binge listening to Mark Fell at the moment. that dude is awsome.
