I've installed a backlight (from backlight4you.com), with a 100 ohm resistor, and an inverter chip.
The light works fine, but randomly, the contrast will change, giving me a darker screen.
I checked the 30k potentiometer with a tester and it seems to work fine.
I've also cleaned the joints of the bottom ribbon cable, but the problem is still there.
I've noticed, when the contrast changes, also the potential of the capacitor above the contrast dial changes. Could it be a bad capacitor issue?
