Hexosphere says:
Hey so I've recently installed a white backlight onto my Gameboy Pocket.

Before installing the backlight my Gameboy Pocket would run every game including LSDJ.
However ever since I installed the backlight LSDJ won't run, everything else runs fine and as it should except for LSDJ.
My LSDJ cart btw:

The contrast is super high, setting it to the lowest just about shows the Nintendo Logo WHEN it even shows up and it never goes anywhere from the bootup!

I'll note down what I did to the system that could potentially be seen as the problem. Because I don't think the cart is the problem, it runs on all the other gameboys I've checked. Just in case there's an incompatibility thing I don't know the code on the back is CN9804

First of all I bought my backlight kit from http://www.deadpanrobot.co.uk/en-gb/col … -kit/75777
the white one. I did a clumsy job installing it but the screen still seems to function and runs games like Pokemon well.
I followed this soldering guide of sorts: http://handheldlegend.com/pages/hhl-help-forum

That's about it, all I did was a backlight mod so I'm convinced that something about the backlight is hindering LSDJ.

I just don't know personally so if any of you have any ideas please help out if you can!

Sorry if this is basic knowledge but this is really jarring 2 me

Thanks 4 helping out if you can btw
