The signal coming through your pro-sound 3,5mm jack is a Line level signal which is made for connecting to an external amplifier, such as the one connected to your speakers or the pre-amps in your mixer. The headphone jack uses the internal gameboy amplifier to amplify the signal to be able to drive your headphones. 			<title><![CDATA[Gameboy Prosound Mod Question]]></title>

I found out that the volume is lower than using the original jack and the speaker even I turned my volume to maximum . Is this normal ?</p><p>( Added a 3.5mm stereo jack and soldered the wire to the post-pot )</p><p>EDIT : Works fine when using speaker , the new jack is significantly louder than the original jack<br />However using a headphone doesn&#039;t</p>]]></description>
