Hi!

My dmg keeps freezing after 1 or 2 minutes of plaing, no matter if it's a flashed cartridge or a normal game. Also the battery is drained crazy fast.
My best guess is that i have a short somewhere or that the installed backlight is messing up the power regulation, but I'm not sure how to determine the problem.

I already tried isolating the pins of the back of the cartridge reader with tape, and cleaned he whole thing with contact spray, with no results.

Any ideas?

I have Kitsch-bent's EL backlight (https://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/el_dmg) installed, otherwise no mods (yet ).
