This update brings lower-sounding wave types, a basic chord sequencer with BPM control, MIDI support, and more.

Hello,

I just tried to use droneboy on RG350, I downloaded the build on github. The 2 first channel don't make sounds, the other 2 are ok. I tried on mGBA emulator on my linux and it's the same. Is it a bug or it can work properly only with BGB and real gameboy ?

A few feature requests from me, would be a way a way to move more than one frequency at once, (a probably far fetched request would that it could play the sequence of chords and glide the oscillators between them) or some sort of LFO would be very welcome, but its a very cool app and a tonne of fun as it is, thanks for making it Pure Funktion

Thanks for the update purefunktion, waiting for a flashcart to arrive and I look forward to hooking droneboy up to a strymon reverb and making a video with it

Got some new updates today. Continuously increase/decrease frequency(sliding tone change) and volume(clicky in the wave and noise channels kind of ok in the square ones). And the ability to copy over the frequency of a note to the frequency mode, so easier to detune and continue in the frequency mode from note mode.

Finally got around to make a new version of Droneboy. This time there is a a new chord page with "modify chord" part and a "chord step" part. Fill the slots in the step part with chords and change between them at your hearts desire.

That was what I thought as well, turns out you can update the frequency without "retriggering" the sound channels so now there is no clicks when changing frequency at least. Volume is bit more involved so will have to look into that later. Thanks for the feedback, I had totally missed that!

Finally got round to trying the new version, it's a great improvement! the macro markers are a good idea, all sorts of interesting possibilities. + the wave channel and noise stuff a great addition

My only criticism would be that changing the slider values sounds a bit steppy/clicky but I guess that's limitations of the GB hardware? + I'd still love the option to hold down controls rather than repeatedly pressing the dpad

Just wanted to say that I made some additions to Droneboy
- Macro and inverted macro markers. This will enable the user to control more than one fader/controller on the same page
- Duty on wave channel and also the ability to change the dividing ratio of the noise channel on duty page
- Minor cosmetic updates.

It should be even better if it was possible to change noise channel note like it is on recent lsdj version. For playing with a drone instrument like a didgeridoo on D. On the other channels it works
