To test how they - and their software - compare to modern DAWs.
So, from me the modern DAWs obtain 0/10 point and Amiga/Atari computers with their MIDI software obtain 10/10. For comfort, ease of use, no lags whatsoerver and so on. And additionally in the Amiga case - for graphic aesthetics of the program.

Tracks descriptions:

Plasma dance in the ionosphere - Yamaha Montage 6 + Amiga 500.
Tracked on OctaMED 4.0.
Original sound of the machine has been preserved.
Thx to The Pink!

Galactor attacks! - Yamaha QY10 + Amiga 500.
Tracked on OctaMED 4.0.
Tons of studio-effects have been added.

NO TRACKER - Yamaha PSS-680 + ATARI 520 ST.
YM3420 chip for two-operator FM synthesis and the YM3419 chip for PCM drums.
Cubase 2.1 sequencer has been used + lots of recording studio effects.

Shining otherworldly - Yamaha Montage 6 + ATARI 520 ST.
Cubase 2.1 sequencer has been used.
Original sound of the machine has been preserved.
Greetz to The Pink again.

Back in Time - CASIO CT-X5000 + Amiga 500.
Tracked on OctaMED 4.0.
Original sound of the machine has been preserved.

Trip to Italy - Roland E-30 + ATARI 520 ST.
Cubase 2.1 sequencer has been used.
Tons of studio-effects have been added.
Greetz to Garvalf from France and Ema Zamboni from Italy - both fans of the Roland E.

Magic Runes - Yamaha PSR E423 + Amiga 500.
Tracked on OctaMED 4.0.
Original sound of the machine has been preserved.

Hardware description.

Computers:

Atari 520 ST with 4Mb and satan-disk.
