Yesterday a paper I&#039;ve been working on was published in an academic journal (?!). The paper is called &quot;Enmediating a platform, enabling fandom: Accessible creation tools and new methods of production for the Game Boy&quot;, and yes it&#039;s entirely as geeky as it sounds. It touches on a few areas of Game Boy creation, current game development using tools like GB Studio, and photography, but the heart of the paper is about chiptune and community. </p><p>Massive thanks to my co-conspirators Rhys and Claire, and to Transformative Works and Cultures for publishing the article.
