It would require some hardcore dig but the midibox seq + blm combo isn't pc based.

well, i thought i knew definitions but it appears that people on the internet have thoroughly screwed it over. i just want (here we go) a pad where i add points which are picked up by a scrolly bar. tenori on style. I would love it to be independent of a computer but from what i have seen it is not viable

yea all of these require computer based seqeuncers, so perhaps find the software you like best and then get the corresponding hardware for it.

monome or a sequencer?

you realize that the monome is in no way a sequencer right?

for Christmas i'm thinking of getting a monome or sequencer.does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for me? i like the look of the tenori-on but not the price. At the moment i am pretty set on a novation launchpad, as it can easily be hacked into a sequencer.

I would be grateful for any suggestions
