Also, does anyone know how to convert a rom into a .gbs to begin with? My searching came up with GBGBSV1.0 but the site that supposedly has it is 404. I know you can just download .gbs files but I'd rather make them myself if possible.

oh no - that's sad - someone needs to get that on Zophar's domain or any site really.  I still have the program if people need it.

Well, 5 years later, today things just got even worse, all of ugetab's stuff is gone! it has been deleted and replaced with a 404, so GBS2GB no longer exists until then.
I don't know if it will come back again, but if it does, then will see how long it lasts. If it doesn't come back any time soon, then will have to find some mirror links for both GBS2GB and GBS2GSF.
Update, apparently the next day Its back again, their must have been some problems with the server itself. That was very strange.
Update again, 2 years later and the page is now Not Found. I'm glad I've rescued the most important tools from the site.
Another update, a few days later and its back up once again.

Question, has anyone tried getting this GBS to GB tool to work on OSX using WINE? I'm vary disappointed that it will not run, because when I click on the EXE I get nothing. Whats even worse is that there is no support for dragging and dropping files in WINE, and thats a bad thing, unless if there is a workaround for this.
Or maybe someone could make a OSX port of the GBS to GB ROM converting tool, and that would be vary nice.

sorry, i never used paragon5 so i thought it exported as .gbs files. unfortunately mgb to gbs searches mostly bring back results on how many mb are in a gb

i renamed the files with a hex editor but um yeah - thats hella annoying.

If GBSPLAY was rewritten to customize names, that would work?

i haven't done a ton with the program yet, but have you figured out how to rename files? they all come up as GBSPLAY or whatever, and i have to restart if i dont open the right one

If there was a simpler way than MML/XPMCK for GBS2GB then I would make an album.
