Run ableton in XP service pack 2 mode, and it worked, I had previously tried service pack 3 mode in w7 and that didnt work. fucking odd. well problem solved so if anyone else runs into the same issue. The problems I have is that Waves bundle 5.0, 5.2 and 5.9.6 wount even load, the others have the GUI freezing when holding the mouse over them even though they work perfectly.
