an0va says:
Hi!

I actually work as part of a collective that composes and licenses out music for games. Mostly flash games though we've worked with iOS, Android, and XBOX Indie games as well. I take care of any project that is looking for a chip music sound in their games. Check us out at http://www.DVGmusic.com and drop us a line if you're interested! Most of the audio on that site isn't chip music but there is a section showcasing some (really old) chip music we've had clients use before. Or you can e-mail me directly with any questions at:

an0vachiptune (at) gmail (dot) com

Some additional examples:

This is a complete original soundtrack I composed in 2010 for "Curse of the Crescent Isle," on XBOX Live Indie Games. I wanted it to feel like directly out of an original NES game-music that wouldn't get in the way of the sound effects (like how I feel a lot of chip music does in many games today, unfortunately), yet still builds over time. If you take a listen to the Title Theme, all three Town Themes and the Ending Theme, you'll see a motif developing across the entire game that I really think helped build cohesion: http://dvgmusic.bandcamp.com/album/curs … soundtrack

Trailer for above game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gJxNXRSJWM

Here's Retromash, a basic arcade style scoring game: http://www.kongregate.com/games/5minutesoff/retromash

Mr Qwak says:
Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself quickly.

I'm a game developer (for iOS mostly), and would love to use chip music in retro / arcadey type games. Current game is very close to release and already has music, so am thinking of future games.

I think it's great fit too, and lot of retro / arcadey games on iOS seem to use chip music.

Anyhow, I have a site here: www.mrqwak.com (a bit sparse at the moment).

Do many of you guys here create music for games?

Cheers,
