More then likely he's getting the colored plastic diffused LED and not the actual clear blue one. With these I think it's just a simple desolder, feed the new one through, solder, clip the tails and you're done.

Yea, just desolder the old one, Google search an led calculator for the resistance of your blue one(based off of the amperage of your new one.) And solder in the resistor and led of your new power indicator.

In honesty, though, most blue leds require the most voltage, so you're probably alright to just remove the old and replace with the blue one... Just double check first.

sup guys kinda new to this, i wanna change the red battery power light to a nice blue one :P im gonna buy the light of nonelectronics.com anyone know how to change it? :)
