Would a series of live clips with text be sufficient?  Or does it need to be a "talking to the camera" type of deal?

You should make a project video. People are more likely to donate if you do.

"Graffiti Monsters and Kool Skull just joined up in 2012 by way of awesome label Datathrash Recordings. We're trying to start a new movement in 8-bit music, focusing on the chipthrash side of the genre.

This May we're doing a tour in California from Sunday 5/6 - Tuesday 5/14, and we could use your help. Right now thanks to a show guarantee in San Francisco we can fly out to California and start our tour.

We hope this tour will be a really good experience, where we learn something new every day, and share our skills with new friends along the way.
