ah yes btw the original buzz is a monster and can be a bit tricky to install. try a remake like buzé for a clean install and more or less same functionality. btw i'd say buzz is quite a bit more powerful than psycle. psycle is a really cool tracker though.

Buzz rocks. I've been using it occasionally for about 10 years now.
Some cool machines:
-the wave recorders (e.g.Whitenoise, CnG) let you do live resampling
-BTDsys SampleGrid is a fun drum sequencer
-PyBuzz lets you get extremely nerdy by running Python scripts inside Buzz
-the more recent DubDelay is probably the coolest/weirdest sounding software delay I've heard
-almost everything Fuzzpilz and BTDsys made!

And yeah, while Buzz can be bitchy at times, I'll also say this: I haven't had a crash that led to data loss in over two years. Once you know where the traps are, it's easy to avoid them.
