You'd have to get ZXpand (32Kb RAM and SD-cards' reading/writing) + MrX for YM2149 sound.

If You want to have 6 channels, then You'd also have to get ZXpand-AY. Then the author of MrX (Sascha2000, he's German) can send You (probably with some price) a GAL chip for MrX - when You replace the GAL with the new one - You have 6 channels instead of 3, when You connect entire combo into Timex1000.

It looks like this:

The black interface is ZXpand with ZXpand-AY.
The green one - is MrX.

Sound-sources are separate but on the other hand it's not so bad because then You can mix them better additionally, if required.
If it's enough for You to use classic 3 channels (one ym2149) then it's enough to get ZXpand with ZXpand-AY.

In my opinion of ancient machines' admirer - pure fun.

Hey Yerzmyey, Great release!  Also, I've got a Timex/Sinclair 1000 and I'd love to get a hold of a MR.X interface or the other ZonX interface.  Could you give me anymore info on how to purchase one of these?  Thanks!

It was a really interesting impression to play with such oldschool hardware.
And for several days while making the album, we had so hot weather (35 degrees and more) that I had to turn the ZX81 off more often to not to burn it or something. One never knows, and the machine likes to heat itself too much.

This album is so great. "Motherboard Circuit" is one of the best track I've ever heard from a ZX.

Work with ZX81 was a really interesting thing, the computer is really tiny and also the touch-sense keyboard is an interesting thing to compose with. But I got used to it finally.

SketchMan3: some people like to link specific songs to their sites (without burdening their own servers, hehe), so choose two ways (separate songs or all-in-one-zip).

The problem is, the i-demo also isn't mine. It's my friend's, so I didn't want to bother him twice with data, You know.
