You probably know this, but you just have to fiddle around with the Synth page. It's like the #1 rule of music. Tweak, fiddle, change and experiment. Good luck

For experimenting: go to older tracks, fuck with Vshift, resonance, wrap,and everything. Fun, and to me, the changes make more sense when heard in existing tracks.

Definitely just keep messing with it, and defenitely read the articles, they helped me understand so much more. Then, just go into your wav channel and begin doing random nonsense and get intresting sounds.

I cannot stress this enough! Blindly wanking around in the dark might work for some, but it's dead-hard to get experimenting with no footholds to start out with.

Sure, experimenting is the way to go in most cases with chipmusic, but knowing -how- to experiment can help out greatly.

I never used LSDJ, but it have something like a Waveform Macro/Envelope?, in order to switch rapidly the data and then obtain a more complex waveform.

Read the roboctopus articles and that's all the intro you need to start making your own sounds.
