And indeed, the green Pokemon came in a grey cart. Except for some bootlegs.

purikura 1 is white, as well as tamagotchi and the flashable one
donkey kong, pokeman pickatwo and purikura 2 are yellow, so yeah, youre right

gold and silver, though, are "yellow" and "silver" with shiny shit over them, and they were gbc carts, like the crystal one (wich is actually cool)

Japanese pokemon carts were grey.

yellow is the least rare among the pokemon colors, btw, because a few other games (mostly donkey kong) used it.

Theres no green shell. Its been discussed for a million times. Theres blue, red and yellow, wich are some sort of rare, black for gbc/gb cross games and the rare japanese white and pink ones.

I vaguely remember there being one game, like some sort of Army game that may have had a green cart, but I have definitely seen green bootlegs online...

There never really was an official green cartridge.
At least not for DMG games...

There where some bootleg games with a green shell, but they are hard to find.

I would buy all kinds of colored carts.

Green would be the best. But it is hard to see working version that is not broken.
