I now have 2 DMG's running with a dmg04 link but when ever i set one to master other to slave it plays too fast and loudly crashing saying "Too Busy!"
How is syncing done? I'm confused.

well, that certainly doesn't add up at all. never had that problem. might have something to do with clock speed stuff in your case?
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW ANYTHING TECHNICAL WORKS AT ALL BUT THAT IS IN FACT VERY STRANGE
Your procedure is correct afaik, have you got another dmg to test it with?
Do you have the same LSDJ version in both carts ?
Do you have the same LSDJ version in both carts ?
yeah i would verify this first i guess?
try different gameboys, maybe one is fucked up? maybe the cord is bad? i don't know.
What are your bpms? Lsdj on a dmg starts to get weird after 200.
Both systems are groove 6:6 the BPM is 140 or 160 depending on song both matching. Tried over 3 different types of links, 3 different DMG's, along with a unmodified Gameboy Advance. Both cartridges are the same version.
I tried it with just one phrase (different pulse channels, still no commands or tables or anything) on each and still "too busy!".
I was getting this same before I gave up on the LSDJ keyboard too.
