Working on a song and the sound has been cut drastically. Still 'works' but next to no bass and all very quiet. I'm thinking one of my poor solder jobs came undone. No big deal, unless someone knows what else might cause this. Slightly more problematic is a screw with a stripped head preventing me from opening my case to fix anything. Any suggestions? I've got a gig Friday and would rather use not use my pocket.
On the screw: Try using a lot of pressure,or a different size screwdriver. Stop as soon as you feel any slipping to prevent the screw from stripping any more. If it's already past any help, you're gonna have to unscrew every other screw and slowly and cut the screw post from the inside somehow or something. Which means you're never gonna be able to close the whole thing properly. Stripped screws suck.
Ended up breaking the post and screw, turns out my gbp's screen is shot so this one's gotta get fixed. Just an broken solder spot, so no big deal. Thanks for the advice though!
