Sure there are a few VJ's here that own projectors.. I might be in the market for one in the near future.
Just curious if there are any recommendations or if you have any tips for peeps when shopping for a projector.
I'm kind of anal about brightness and color... which i know will only make my shopping a bit more pricey.

on newegg.
Get as many lumens as you can. I'd get at least 3000aL
Don't get office shit like BenQ, Hewlett Packard or Epson.
I have an Epson EMP-TW20 which I really really like, but I am far from a visual expert, works just fine for movies and stuff. If you are buying second hand I would check the number of lamp hours left and also how much replacements are likely to cost you.
I am going to build my own... 
It's not going to be anything spectacular, but it could be kinda neat...
