ok, drop everything and listen to this tonight - the album is going to feature a who's who of high-profile Japanese and international chip artists. (lots of familiar names here! including yours truly, cough cough.)
btw, the game is amazing. it's basically a flash tribute to Mega Man, except the main character is a girl. the game mechanics and level/character design are extremely faithful to the original games. and the game is HARD. GOOD HARD.
here's some copypasta from the FB event:

Nubuwo is teaming up with Noise Channel to bring you the Rokko Chan Arrange Album Listening Party! Experience the music from the popular flash game, Rokko Chan, in a whole new way with a stellar list of your favorite chiptune artists! Here are details from Nubuwo.:
"Nubuwo has partnered with independent developer King Soukutu on the publication of Rokko Chan Soundtracks. The designers of The Big Adventure of Owata's Life and Rokko Chan will be overseeing the project, together with the organizers of music compilations Hydorah Arranged Tracks and Splatterhouse: Butchered by Various Artists.
The music collection is scheduled to include the Famicom-inspired score to browser-based Flash game Rokko Chan, written using PxTone Collage software and composed by Hokkaido-based musician Asagen. New chip music remixes by various artists are also planned for the release, in addition to arrangements in miscellaneous genres.
Rokko Chan Soundtracks is due out on Bandcamp on July 4 and will be available in your file format of choice for "name your price," with all proceeds going to the game developer. Participating arrangers will be announced soon."
Keep in mind that this special episode of Noise Channel will NOT be archived, so be sure to tune in for the live show! The album won't even be available on Bandcamp until July. Tune in by going to http://www.areciboradio.com/ and connecting to the live stream.
