So this is the video that best explains it, chip tune i mean.

It put him in the mood for some Mario or Duck Hunt or something... right...

Indeed, we get it fuse
There isn't really a scene around here, although there is one all over Germany.
8 Bit Breakdowns every few months in Koblenz, Pornophonique live close to us, but we don't really have contact. Not sure if G0dlike or Stereochan would still consider themselves Chiptune-artists, but I think they live close to us as well.
I think most stuff that's going on happens in Berlin + Koblenz.
It appears to me that it's still more underground around here. The real geeks are still sitting in their basements, programming stuff + playing MUDs.
It's all right.
I lol'd.
There's never been much of a community here really...
Currently I think there's some guy called Casion, that I've never even met somehow, Secret Teeth who does some chippy breakcore on occasion, and me, and I don't do much really.
Chipzel and Skip Cloud are away at university in England...
There's still Gamepak in Dublin, but they seem to be running more irregularly these days an focusing less on chipmusic than before (Psilodump played recently and I missed it though).
I've previously made some ill-fated attempts at putting on some shows (not all chip) including Goto80, and got somewhat discouraged.
We've recently set up a hackerspace/makerspace in Belfast (Farset Labs) and I'm going to be co-running a monthly 'Music Mondays' event focusing on some of the nerdier elements of music technology. So I'll be using that to help educate some people in the ways of chip (Also, free event space, time to get off my ass and do something again).
The Chiptune community in Northern Ireland is pretty non-existant, except for some great artists in Belfast.
Luckily enough we're Chiptune/Rock so it's easier to build fans in a place where no one really knows what chiptune is : /

Hello people-I-should-probably-know-better.
Trenton has none-so, terrible! But, I'll be moving to Philly at the end of July, so it's going to get a whole lot better!
Haven't checked out any of the other scenes, and I only started going to shows just recently, but in Philly everybody is the best ever.
The Australian community is amazing and is constantly inspiring me whenever I see other people.
Warsaw... I know only me and my friend. There are very few people who like chiptune music but they are not listening to it a lot.
Yet to find anyone in Canberra.
Let me know if there is one, will ya?
Holland is pretty damn rad at the moment with the likes of Xyce, DS-10, Eindbaas, Monodeer, Neurobit, Timbob and Roccow. PLus we all live a maximum of 2 hours away from each other.
Me and Solarbear are the only ones in the immediate area I think, and we had somehow not known about each other until like two months ago. Kind of impressive really.
Sadly, while he does the dance thing, I'm in the mires of singer/songwriter-dom, being "that dude with the gameboy" helps with some recognition, but it seems like people just like it for the novelty sometimes. Not to say there aren't a few genuine people, but the feeling of being the ambassador of chip music to the Lexington indie scene gets a little old sometimes. I would love some more people in town.
