so, i got hold of a mini KP and shortly after aquiring it, my niece dropped a massive power plug on it and dented the pad. Now it thinks its being constanlty held down in one position (if you touch the pad in another place the value is an interpolation of the position you press and the position its dented in.
maybe with your mad skills you can fix this. maybe you dont need the full capabilities of the KP (namely you dont need to turn the effects on and off by pressing/ not pressing the pad; theyre always on) I dont know, maybe you have a thing for underloved mashed bits of equipment. the point is, i have no use for it now.
my idea was to either try repair the pad, replace it with some kind of touchscreen (maybe a ds one) or most practically, unhook the xy pad and replace it with two pots and a button (1x pot x 1x pot y and a button the turn on the effect) Im not going to be able to do this however as im well lame.
any interest in a cheaper purchase or some kind of trade?
