why would you limit yourself to just using one channel for drums?
Oh I don't, I wrote it that way for simiplitcy. Drums go on Wav or PU1. Cyms, snares, Chh, ohh, rides, etc go in Noise.
On occasion when it works, I make a kick/snare combos in wave.
