I used a DPDT switch because I used the inverter made by Justin Thursday featured on Kitsch's site.

I don't have any solid info on DPDT + 74HC04. I pretty sure its possible in theory, I'm no switch expert tough so I'd either recommend looking into the 74HC86 or purchasing the switchable inverter board: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/hex-switch-v1

I actually botched the spray paint job on that cart. Pieces of it are grey and ugly looking and its starting to chip. It looks fine from the top though haha. Anybody know where I could get a replacement ems 64 shell?
