Hey guys! I'm new to CM.org and here is my first 8bit track:

I wanna know what you guys think - I know my melodies are a little simple, but it mostly just emerged from a session with messing around with an 8bit plugin for garageband, and before I knew it, it became a full blown track.

Lemme know what you think, and I hope you guys like it!

EDIT: If you guys have any suggestions to make, I'd be glad to hear them! Also, I'm looking for advice regarding programs to use to make chiptune music. I know lsdj, but I'm not sure where to get it nor how to use it. Thanks guys.

Sounds good! Would've loved some variations in the notes... Move them some more a bit, shuffle them, making the tune more dynamic or something.

LSDJ is really easy... I just started using it 2 weeks ago.., There's a really great short manual and there are lots of fast tutorials on Youtube. Get VisualBoyAdvanced or some other gameboy emulator to run it. And it's only 2$...

There is Famitracker. It's a free download and I've seen Nullsleep recommend it as a start to chiptune. There are tutorials out for famitracker and you don't need any special hardware. Most things are out there, you just need to take some time to look for them.
