I've been messing around with mGB using my DMG lately and I've noticed whenever I hit play or a new midi segment is played in Reaper my settings in mGB are changed randomly. Is there any way to stop this or am I just doing something wrong?

Reaper is probably sending a program change message. You can probably change that setting for the track. You can also store the presets in mGB so it recalls to your desired setting
