Hey guys.
Glad I found this forum. I'm been listening to a lot of chiptunes at work lately, including work by some of the names I recognize (hi little-scale! Two Warriors gets me through the day!)
Anyway I use chiptunes in some of my recordings, but those aren't online... but I am working on a live act that incorporates some of that.
I know it's not strictly chiptunes, but I like lo-fi 8-bitish kinds of sounds for the keyboard. A lot of people seem to not "get it" -- they think that the chippy sounds are cheap placeholder for something else rather than exactly the intentional beautiful sound that it is. So when I got that reaction to my latest release, I thought "hey, maybe I should be posting this on a chiptune forum."
So yeah. Like it. Or don't! But thanks for listening.
