My Gameboy SP hinge broke and it's not useable anymore when it comes to gaming or composing. But I saved the backlight to backlight my gbc. Anyhoot, I am willing to give the battery, buttons and other chips inside the console for free, if you're interested just PM me. My sp is busted too. i tried removing the clock crystal it overclock it and bumped a little square thingy loose. now it doesnt know if i press a or b. i thought about trying to solder the little 1 mm part, but i dont think it will work

It might work, but I am not exactly sure! I'd look around the forums a bit to see if you can fix it. Best of luck though mate!
