Dumb question guys, but LSDJ can send midi right? I've never tried doing it but I'm pretty sure some people out there have.
How is it done?
I have one of lowgain's midi-gb units I used for sending MIDI to the gb but have no clue how or if it works both ways.
My hope here is to trigger video clips on a laptop.
You can send midi thru an arduino, ill keep an eye on this topic because im really motivated to do some triggered visuals shit for our live stuff
The firestarter midi interface that is the basis of the lowgain design doesnt work with midi out mode.
You'll need a arduinoboy, and a special version of LSDJ (marked arduinoboy in the official download place. Only version 4.1 as far as I know)
And then you can send midi out.
Which is in fact a lot of fun.
