Literally lusting for that chrome DMG case.
I really like the black and blue one . Did you paint the buttons white inside out on that one?
They're clear, painted inside out with a matching blue
What paints did you use for the blue/pink one? I love the matte look! It's gorgeous!

I believe that's a Montana paint. I'm not sure which exact color though. Earlier this year I lived in a 2nd floor apartment where I couldn't paint for a few months so I had our artist newbanZo doing some basic and two tone shells for the site while I was unable to paint at that location. I just ordered about 8 different montana colors so if I stumble upon that specific shade I'll let you know!

Awesome! Thanks a bunch!
Recieved my Case today. Looks nice - but it's not possible to screw it together.
I don't no why, but for some reason the pins are broken down. I do not say it was the guy who painted it, put he cleary didn't try to screw it together before.
One of the pins is okay, like it should be:
On the other side these are 2 out of 4 (!) pins who are broken down. The board is as tight to the case as it gets, still with any standart TriWing or Phillips Screw, who are built in GameBoys it's not possible to get the two half together.
Be sure to check the shells next time, before painting.
Ahh! sorry about that I wish you lived closer, I'd personally drive a replacement shell to you! lol
We've never encountered this problem before so send an email to [email protected] and we'll definitely work something out as compensation.
Do you have any photos of the front of the housing? He forgot to snap a photo for me before it shipped it out and I was pretty excited about seeing that design on a DMG shell.
Well, let's wrap things up here.

Seems like you have acommunication problem.
He could have removed the left-over glue around the screen cover a little bit better, maybe try some good sandpaper next time, but that's just a little thing.
As you can see, it's closed. Why?
Because after i raged pretty hard yesterday (bad day yesterday, started with the case), i came up with a solution.
Nintendo always uses TriWings for they cases and most of the times they have the same size (most, e.g. the Gamecube Controller has bigger ones), but you all should know that.
After trying various Hardware i found out that in the GameBoy Camera there are 2 TriWings that are slightly longer.
So they are a fix for this problem, even if it means you have to dissamble 2 GB Cameras for 4 Screw.
Also one of the pins was so short, the thread in it got overtorqued, which means that this GBCscrew is now stock in there. And that also means the DMG probably never will open again.
Just thought i let you know.
THE 8BIT ONE IS FUCKING GORGEOUS
Thanks!
07.09.13 update (two new items)
I really like the spaceboy, tronboy, and splatterboys. Neato!
8bit boy looks like it's wearing a bikini...
