malwarebytes anti malware is good. but really the best thing to do is reinstall windows and then install an antivirus package and start using common sense about what you install

Don't dowload porn. It free, and it's every where. No need to gamble the chance your mom will find it.

nah, makes sense... some people dont need/want to hear a particular song whenever they want, others do.... same can go for any media really... maybe OP really needs to watch the same video a lot

true true, nvm, i was thinking more in terms of the fact that downloading an album won't usually screw up ur comp whereas i always hear about people's computers getting wrecked by porn downloads. it depends on where u get ur music tho i suppose

Did you try turning it off and back on?

well i mean the main thing about downloading porn is knowing the difference between an .avi and an .exe

also i've only gotten a virus once, and it wasn't even porn, it was from a weird foreign streaming website i found when i was trying to watch (I believe) an episode of Bored to Death.

And I typed in what was happening on google and found other people having the same problem, and additionally people who had already solved the problem for them. a couple hours later i was all set. (would've been quicker if i had just grabbed malwarebytes though).

for real though why would you bring this here?

Malwarebytes and tdsskiller will remove almost everything, just run them in safe mode. Theres others that I don't remember the name of because I use them so infrequently. Reinstalling the OS is for n00bs that don't know how easy it is to get rid of 99% of malware.

Yeah it'd be a shame if she found out

Here is a Microsoft employee stating that once a system is comprimised it can no longer be trusted.

I was going to write a bunch of stuff about how you are in fact the one who's wrong but I'll just say that the article is 10 years old and what they're talking about is very much different.

Did you create an account just to post this?
