Ive got a hex v1.3 chip that i want to use to bivert  a gameboy pocket but i have no idea where to solder it. Does anyone have any pictures/diagrams/tutorials that can show me the solder points? Ive seen this pic but i cant figure whats what cause nothings labeled.

also, I broke a pocket lcd trying to add a backlight. Is there any way to fix this without replacing it altogether? if not, does anyone have a pocket lcd they want to sell me?

After you have all your wires soldered use piece of electrical tape over the spot between the CPU and the LCD connector and place it right there. Fits perfectly. Then use another piece of tape over it.
