your cart shouldn't be making a hissing sound, no matter what type it is. (more generally speaking, the carts don't produce audio, this is done inside the gameboy)

does it happen when you press 'start' in LSDJ? this isn't abnormal behavior (there is a lot of background noise which begins when start is pressed, its all very normal). if its all the time and much more pronounced than using a normal cartridge, it might be worth investigating that particular cart.
the gameboy always makes a hiss sound, not sure if this could be part of it
