I heard the blob light kinda worked and didn't do a real amazing job of lighting.
I'm thinking of composing on the GBC for a song and wanted to go for something simple but effective.

I personally can't stand any of the "magnifier" type lights. The best thing I've found for GBC is the "LightSaver" which gets power from the link port and folds down as a screen protector when not in use. I really like these. Throw the stupid button cover thing directly in the trash.

Yeah, I was looking into picking up a light attachment and replace the lighting with LED bulbs.
I'll pick up a few and try them out.
