It all sounds incredibly jarring to me. Though I am a fan of simplicity and of clean sound design.

botbuh has a 64k limit for midi files :B

^ i did, but his reasoning is that you would pretty much never use a .mid file that was bigger than 64k on classic hardware, which i think is fair enough
Like using all expansions and huge dpcm's on NES...
well, there's a seperate category for expansions, so that's ok. bankswitching dpcm is debatable, but i think a third nsf category would be overkill.
