I prosounded a GBC a while ago but the left out has static. It sounds as if it wasn't prosounded at all. The stereo works and all I hear is the left output so I haven't mixed the left and right like half of my DMGs and I didn't touch ground either. I'm starting to think it's just how Game Boy Colors are and that would be disappointing. What do you guys think?
Do you hear the "left" channel out of both rca jacks?
Did you make sure to ground both jacks?
Both are grounded and both are separate. There's probably a small short otherwise I have no idea.

no static on mine, bu thats with a headphone jack.
Clear pictures of the inside with solder points would be helpful.

Either you have a soldering issue or the volume pot is dirty. Try using a q-tip to put a few drops up rubbing alcohol hinder the volume wheel. Turn it up and down for a minute or two. Let dry for about 15 minutes and see if it sounds cleaner.
I vote cruddy solder job and/or you grounded something because the rcas are touching the board.
Whenver I prosound a gbc I use the bottom two points for Pre-Pot Prosound.
