Hi again, ive had this acer aspire one lying around for a while trying to turn it into a hackintosh, (failed) And I wanted to see if I could implement it in my setup. I've seen a couple guys use them but I don't know what is or trackers they use. Right now it has Ubuntu but I don't know if that's my best option. Thanks -Payday
Mine runs Windows 7 and can run Schism, FamiTracker, Deflemask, and Renoise without issues.
Also UTAU, Vocaloid, MMD, gimp, Adobe Premier,...

ditto here
and no, I doubt he did, mine is vanilla and can run all of the above
I have Arch on my netbook (Asus 1001PX), but it might be a bit much if you aren't too well versed with Linux.
Xubuntu or Crunchbang would be good choices. Both are fairly lightweight compared to Bloatbuntu.
As for netbook-friendly trackers... Milkytracker, Klystrack, Deflemask, LSDJ (in an emulator such as Gambatte), LGPT, etc
You should upgrade the ram anyways.. IIRC they run 1 GB DDR2 right?
