Now let's see if peoples can put their code where their mouth is
Psp caanoo dingoo midi support was always an hardware issue, not a code issue.
About damn time!!
Yep awesome!

Oh right, what exactly is the hardware issue? I'm not great at this kind of thing, but someone managed to control a piano through midi data sent from a PSP, so why is PSP midi with piggy not plausible?

It is plausible. Find out how they connected the PSP to the piano and there's your hardware solution.
I hope that it will be ported to / remade into an android app and have a track mixer and synth screen added to it now that it is open source.
onscreen d-pad and buttons...it would be good. could make money, its great software

Id love a ios port with audiobus and ios gamepad support. Looks like we already have save as coming as a result of this!

I've also always hoped for direct PSP piggy->LSDJ sync, with some kind of simple pulse sent through a USB->DMG link adapter that LSDJ can read. They both run at 5V, right?
In short - THIS IS VERY EXCITING and I wish I could code worth a shit

save as= giant fuck yes moment
I want midi in most of all. Even just simple note triggering / note offs would be amazing.
midi CC controll of the play offset / loop offset would be just off the hook.
You know there is midi in as a mapping source at least right ?
