I played 1-1 as link and even when you have the mushroom, you can't break bricks 
Playing as Megaman was pretty sick. Simon has really slow movement and his "double-jump" wasn't really all that high.

Just played it for a few minutes there. Level 4-1 is rubbish with Mega Man and the enemy recognition is much higher than the original games when doing speed runs with Mario - alas! It's bloody brilliant though.
Oh, mushpot, if you jump and attack with Link he uses his sword to smash the bricks!
