What exactly do you mean by .hex? Intel hex format? It also contains address data, which you would need to add as well.
I was hoping we were doing binary conversion...oh well. I will just go back to my geeky world.
Might help if you told us the context of what these files are s'posed to be performing. Like, do you need .hex machine code for micros? do you need like a .bin rom to be the result?
I've only ever seen .hex files the result of some sort of compiling. I don't think convert is the right term. But again I've only ever used .hex files for ATmegas.
The first three hits on google for "convert a .hex to a .bin file" are .hex to .bin file converter utilities. Have you tried any of them? Not what you needed? give us more info, we would love to help!
I am trying to help Little-scale convert his Genmdm firmware so that he can make custom samples possible.

he needs it converted from the GENMDM_103.cpp.hex to GENMDM.bin
..and then back again...

tried some of them didn't work too well for me.
and little-scale cannot get the hex2bin one to work from sourceforge..
seemed like the most legit converter out there tho
im sad to say that i dont really have the time or the selflessness (just the selflessness actually, i have the time but i want to spend it listening to bjork and crying) to guide you 100% through this process but i do hope you figure it out
the websites is just a manual explaining how to use xxd
i dunno if you can just download it for windows but its part of cygwin or vim
i dont really know what you are trying to do or anything and its probably not worth trying to figure out xxd to do it except as a last resort so i hope you find a better option tho i couldnt really say what
maybe if you told other people where the .hex files came from or what the process your doing is there might be other people who have done the exact same thing who could be more helpful? idk
if you get really stuck you could upload the .hex file and someone might just do it
if you dont ask you dont get anyway
anyway good luck, i guess this post seems pretty patronising after:
nvm figuring it out
all the best,
