im sceptical, 3D printing seems to be far from reliable, especially with anything that an average jo0e can afford. A lot of 3D printers just don't have that level of accuracy, as well as the shifting in the plastic due to the heat.

The printer we had at Uni would also take several hours per part, even for a 4 square inch part.

@Alpine - SLA 3D Printers are the answer. But they are in same cost as real maschine for vinyl manufacturing at this very moment... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereolithography
But I can see this as future for small internet labels selling their MP3,CDs,Audio Tapes.
