All those programs do work on tapes?, last time I tried just one managed to work (sid wizard) and the other synth programs(retroskoi, bass 64) didn't even load on the tape. Any advice on how to fix this?
Dunno about the others but Bass and Retroskoi are just standard exes, shouldn't be a problem. How are you saving them? If you're loading them on c64/emulator and then saving from there there's a slight (slight) possibility the memory config gets a bit messed up in the recording. Best way would be using something like WAV-PRG
They all work perfectly off tape. You probably had tape drive issues or something.
I use CopyTurbo on my *real* C64 to copy from "disk" to tape.
I never really used tapes but for small programs like these I have to say it's perfect. It fits SO many! I didn't even fill a quarter of one side of a 90min tape!! Also cassette tape is more reliable than floppy disks. Will last longer.

Could be the tape drive as sometimes works when it wants, also could be that maybe i'm screwing up the recording of the wav's in the tapes. I'll check that out
