Well, I am looking for some folk-y music, like acoustic guitar/accordian/banjo/whathefuckever + vocals + some tracker/chip shizz.
I know Bud Melvin is the tits, and I really like Mark Denardo's acoustic stuff, but can't seem find any of his music other than the EP released on 8BP.
Any recommendations?

I've been working on some folk stuff for a while, but I loathe writing lyrics. Going for a sort of Simon and Garfunkel kind of aesthetic with LSDJ serving as the lead in lieu of lyrics.
I've been hunting for Mark Denardo's stuff for a little while, especially the vocal version of "Impala 66." I love his stuff, inclusive of the scoring work and the Graffiti Monster 7"
Brother Android does folk and chip. Not always at the same time, though.

This is me doing my shitty version. Some of it is pretty folky. I'm not a super strong singer though. Wish you could hear the chiptune part better...

...not exactly what You require, but it's Celtic folk based composition, made entirely with tracker, on Atari 520ST.

So I'm not alone. I've been meaning to make an edit of the instrumental and the audio in the movie.
