I had a double take moment when something was impossible in fami (tri bass changing sounds) and read the interview to see what was used. tongue This is an excellent release that totally nails NES textures. Cheers!

Yeah, that triangle bass is weird - mostly because I can't figure out what about my tiangle sample is different than how the chip itself processes it.  It's also worth noting that it's mastered, so it's not an exact output export.  That said, I think Toni did a righteous job maintaining the legit-NES-ness while really smoothing out the sound.

And if you think I cheated a bit with the triangle, listen to the noise channel smile  I'm using waaaaay too many pitches.  smile
